The 2020s have arrived, and it's time for WWE fans and pundits to start looking towards the long-term future of the company.
Before you know it, some of the top superstars from the 2000s and 2010s will be retired, and other superstars - youngsters and veterans - will be tasked with with carrying the company to new levels of success in the 2020s.
Here, we're taking a look at the 10 superstars who will influence and help define the WWE in the 2020s.

The ages and statuses of superstars were taken into account for this list. For example, major stars like John Cena, The Undertaker, AJ Styles and Kofi Kingston were exempt. The former two are only part-timers now, while Styles and Kingston have hinted at retiring in the future.
10 10. Tommaso Ciampa
Tommaso Ciampa has been a shining star in the NXT brand, but at some point, WWE will have to bring his world-class talents to the main roster.
The former NXT Champion and Johnny Gargano will hopefully feud once they're both on the main roster. Ciampa especially will shine as a heel when he gets the call, and he could be WWE's top villain within a few years.

Ciampa brings it all: Energy, strong in-ring skills and superb microphone work. Once he's on Raw or SmackDown, Ciampa will become a big-time main eventer. His future is more than bright here in the 2020s.
9 9. Brock Lesnar
Yes, Brock Lesnar is only a part-timer. And yes, he's 42 years of age.
Why is he on this list, you might ask? Well, let's just consider the obvious.
Lesnar is always going to be in the main event picture as long as Vince McMahon is calling the shots. And as we saw with the likes of Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins, the path to becoming "the guy" goes through Lesnar.
Other future main event stars are going to eventually clash with Lesnar. And other big-time stars are going to see their title reigns end to Lesnar. That, folks, is why the future Hall of Famer will be a defining superstar in the new decade.
8 8. Daniel Bryan
Daniel Bryan turns 39 years of age in May, so some of you may be wondering why he's still on this list. But like Lesnar, the explanation is pretty simple.
For one, Bryan remains a top-tier main event star - and that's not going to change any time soon. He'll always be at the top of the card, and Bryan clearly has plenty of quality years left in the ring.
And secondly, let's not forget how much time and effort Bryan put in to get cleared so that he could return to wrestling. He's obviously keen on doing it for the long run, not just for a few years. As far as he's concerned, Bryan is only getting started in the second go-around of his WWE career.
7 7. Kevin Owens
It's surprising and also hard to believe that Kevin Owens hasn't received a major push in almost three years now. Thankfully, things are trending upward for the Prized Fighter, and he should be one of the most influential and accomplished superstars here in the 2010s.
Owens is now in the midst of a major feud with Rollins and AOP. Clearly, WWE is working towards putting him back at the top of the card. His strong energy and passion on the microphone are out of this world, and WWE can't move away from pushing him.
Expect Owens to be a multi-time WWE and Universal Champion here in the 2020s, and I wouldn't be surprised if he even won a Royal Rumble or two.
6 6. Charlotte Flair
No female superstar accomplished more in the second half of the 2010s than Charlotte Flair, who is well on her way to a future WWE Hall of Fame induction.
What more can we say about Charlotte that hasn't already been said? She competed in the first ever women's Hell in a Cell match (against Sasha Banks in 2016) and in the first ever women's WrestleMania main event last year.
Charlotte has displayed elite in-ring wrestling skills, and her character and persona have been more than over with the WWE Universe for a while. As usual, she'll be carrying the torch as one of the main event women's talents in the 2020s.
The Queen will continue to reign supremacy for a long, long time.
5 5. Bray Wyatt
This isn't Bray Wyatt's first main event run in WWE, but it's unquestionably the best one of his career up to date.
"The Fiend" is by far the hottest thing in WWE right now, and he's likely going to be in one of the top matches at WrestleMania 36. As long as The Fiend's popularity continues to soar, Wyatt will be at the top of the card for years to come.
It's not a stretch to call him the second coming of The Undertaker. His horror-themed character and mysterious persona has Wyatt on the path to enjoying an illustrious run in the 2020s.
4 4. Seth Rollins
The Architect has been one of WWE's top money draws since he debuted with The Shield back in 2012. Rollins is the complete package; capable of working on his own or with a high-powered stable (The Shield, The Authority and now with AOP).

Not only that, but Rollins has the unique ability to shine as both a top babyface and as the No. 1 bad guy. His superb microphone skills make Rollins a special commodity in WWE, and Vince knows this.
Rollins is going to be one of WWE's premier main event superstars for the next decade. There is no question about it.
3 3. Becky Lynch
Becky Lynch was instrumental in helping rebuild the women's division during the second half of the 2010s, but her run as "The Man" has been something else.
Lynch's attempted heel turn at SummerSlam 2018 failed so badly that it turned her into the WWE's most popular female superstar. The Irish Lass Kicker hasn't looked back, and like Charlotte, Lynch has reached numerous records and historic firsts here in WWE.
For Lynch, she's also been able to retain her popularity for a year and a half now. This obviously bodes well for her long-term future in WWE. It means she'll be called upon to lead the women's division to even greater heights in the 2020s.
2 2. Adam Cole
Out of every superstar on the NXT brand, one can argue that Adam Cole is in the best position for receiving a giant push once he joins the main roster.
In a way, it's surprising that Cole hasn't received the call yet. There's nothing left for this special talent to prove on the NXT roster, and he would especially shine on either Raw or SmackDown, since both brands need shake-ups in the main event division.
It won't be long until Cole finally emerges as a top-tier superstar on WWE's main roster. And nobody should be surprised if he enjoysthe greatest run among all WWE superstars in the 2020s. He's really that special.
1 1.Roman Reigns
Say what you want about Reigns and his controversial push from 2015 to '18, but we know Vince isn't going to stop in trying to get The Big Dog fully over once and for all.
Reigns headlined four WrestleMania events in the 2010s, and he won the 2015 Royal Rumble. He's received more favorable crowd reactions as a mid-card performer, which gives Vince good reason to eventually throw Reigns back in the main event spotlight.
Even if Reigns doesn't truly get over as "the guy," WWE can always make him the No. 1 heel, a role that he would truly shine in.
No matter how you feel about Reigns, he remains a personal favorite of Vince's. He's going to be a decade-defining superstar in the 2020s, one way or another.
