When everyone steps through the door in a professional wrestling company, the ultimate goal is to win a World Championship. Of course, not every wrestler is fortunate to capture a World Championship, but winning a championship nevertheless is always a special feeling. However, some wrestlers are so talented, that WWE, ECW, or TNA has trusted them to hold not one but two championships at the same time.

Many of the all-time greats have had stints as double champions at least once throughout their careers but not multiple times. The likes of John Cena, The Undertaker, Batista, and Booker T have held multiple championships simultaneously at least once but they were unable to replicate the feat again. It's a huge accolade to hold more than one championship, and some wrestlers have shown their versatility by pulling their weight as single and tag team champions.
11 Rob Van Dam
At ECW One Night Stand 2006, Rob Van Dam finally became WWE Champion for the first time in his career. RVD dethroned John Cena, and it was his Money in the Bank cash-in. Two nights later on an episode of ECW, Paul Heyman awarded Rob Van Dam, the ECW Championship. RVD made history as the only man to hold the WWE Championship and ECW Championship.
RVD was a double champion for 20 days as he had to drop the WWE and ECW Championship for getting caught with marijuana. The first time that RVD held two titles simultaneously was in ECW. He held the ECW Television Championship and was co-holder of the ECW World Tag Team Championship with Sabu.
10 Diesel
Diesel became one of the fastest rising stars in WWE history. Initially starting as Shawn Michaels' bodyguard, he had an eye for gold in 1994. Big Daddy Cool defeated Razor Ramon for the Intercontinental Championship in April 1994. He became a double champion as alongside Shawn Michaels they captured the WWE Tag Team Championship from The Headshrinkers on a house show.
They were double champions for one day as he dropped the Intercontinental Title to Razor Ramon at SummerSlam 1994. 12 months later, Diesel became a double champion for the second time as the Two Dudes with Attitude captured the WWE Tag Team Championship at Owen Hart and Yokozuna's expense, and he was the reigning WWE Champion.
9 X-Pac
In 2001, X-Pac had one of the best spells in his WWE career as he defeated Jeff Hardy for the WWE Light Heavyweight Championship in June of that year. A month later, X-Pac added the WCW Cruiserweight Championship to his collection as he beat Billy Kidman on an episode of Raw.
X-Pac was double champion briefly as he dropped the Light Heavyweight Championship to Tajiri. However, at SummerSlam, X-Pac became a double champion once more as he regained the Light Heavyweight Title from Tajiri and thus went on to become the final Light Heavyweight Champion.
8 Steve Austin
"Stone Cold" Steve Austin aligned himself with Triple H, and the two former rivals teamed up as the Two-Man Power Trip. Austin reclaimed the WWE Championship from The Rock at WrestleMania 17 to kickstart his fifth reign as WWE Champion. At Backlash 2001, Austin and Triple H defeated The Undertaker and Kane for the WWE Tag Team Championship.

Ironically, Austin held both the WWE Championship and WWE Tag Team Championship simultaneously with The Undertaker in 1998. In the summer of 1997, Austin was a double champion in WWE for the first time. The Bionic Redneck held the WWE Tag Team Championship with Dude Love, and he added the Intercontinental Title at SummerSlam when he beat Owen Hart.
7 The Miz
The Miz dethroned Kofi Kingston to win the WWE United States Championship for the first time in his career in October 2009. Four months later, Miz teamed up with Big Show, whose partnership with Chris Jericho dissolved. They dubbed themselves as ShoMiz, and they won the Unified WWE Tag Team Championship in February 2010.
Miz was a double champion for a couple of months, and he became a double champion for the second time in his career in 2011. Miz cashed in his Money in the Bank briefcase to beat Randy Orton for the WWE Championship in November 2010. Moreover, three months later, Miz and his rival John Cena briefly held the WWE Tag Team Championship as they beat Heath Slater and Justin Gabriel but minutes later, they dropped the titles back to them.
6 Kane
In 2001, Kane and The Undertaker formed a formidable alliance, and they clean swept the tag team division. They beat Sean O'Haire and Chuck Palumbo for the WCW Tag Team Championship, and DDP and Chris Kanyon for the WWE Tag Team Championship at SummerSlam 2001 in a tag team steel cage match.
A year later, the Big Red Machine formed an unlikely partnership with The Hurricane and they won the WWE Tag Team Championship in September 2002. A week later, Kane beat Chris Jericho for the Intercontinental Championship although his run as double champion only lasted two weeks.
5 Kurt Angle
Kurt Angle strung together one of the best rookie years in WWE history in 2000. The Olympic Gold Medalist tasted his first piece of silverware as he beat Val Venis for the WWE European Championship on an episode of SmackDown in February. Weeks later, Angle ended Y2J's Intercontinental Championship reign at No Way Out 2000 to become the third man to hold the European and Intercontinental titles simultaneously.

Angle departed WWE in 2006, and he joined TNA and arguably his career in TNA was better than his time in WWE. At Hard Justice 2007, Angle had one of his finest moments as he beat Samoa Joe for the X Division Championship. Thus, he held the TNA World Heavyweight Championship, X Division Championship, and TNA Tag Team Championships at the same time which is a remarkable feat.
4 Shawn Michaels
Shawn Michaels is one of the most decorated superstars in WWE history. In 1995, HBK became a double champion for the first time in his career. Michaels captured his second WWE Tag Team Championship with Diesel when they dethroned Owen Hart and Yokozuna for the titles.
Their joy as double champions was short-lived as the Tag Team titles were returned to Hart and Yokozuna. Nonetheless, two years later, Michaels was at the top of his game, and he became a Grand Slam Champion. The Showstopper beat the British Bulldog for the European Championship to become the first Grand Slam Champion in WWE history. He controversially dethroned Bret Hart for the WWE Title at Survivor Series 1997, and he is the only man to hold the WWE and European Titles simultaneously.
3 Triple H
In April 2001, Triple H captured the Intercontinental Championship twice by beating Chris Jericho and Jeff Hardy respectively. However, he was missing the WWE Tag Team Championship from his collection. That all changed, when he and WWE Champion Steve Austin beat the Brothers of Destruction for the WWE Tag Team Championship at Backlash.
The Game became the second Grand Slam Champion in WWE history, and he was a double champion for a month. A year later, Triple H was awarded the World Heavyweight Championship, and he defeated Kane for his fifth run as Intercontinental Champion. The Intercontinental Title was subsequently retired for seven months. He was also the Undisputed WWE Champion in 2002 holding both the WWE title and the Big Gold Belt.
2 Chris Jericho
Chris Jericho is one of the most accomplished wrestlers to grace a WWE ring. Jericho has been a double champion several times throughout his WWE career. The first time was in May 2001, when he and Chris Benoit won the WWE Tag Team Championship, and Y2J beat Big Show for the Hardcore Championship.
Later in the year, Jericho and his bitter rival The Rock were co-holders of the WWE Tag Team Championship, and Jericho beat Rock for his first WCW Championship reign. Ultimately, Jericho capped off a remarkable 2001 by beating Rock and Steve Austin in the same night to become the first-ever Undisputed WWE Champion.
1 Seth Rollins
Seth Rollins is still only 35 but if he was to retire today, he's already cemented his legacy as a sure-fire WWE Hall of Famer. On three separate occasions, the Architect has held two championships simultaneously. The first instance was in 2015 for a month, when he was the reigning WWE Champion, and he defeated John Cena at SummerSlam 2015 to become the first man to hold the WWE and United States Championships at the same time.
Three years later, Rollins ended Dolph Ziggler's Intercontinental Championship reign at SummerSlam 2018. He shortly added the Raw Tag Team Championship with Dean Ambrose although their partnership broke down, and they were Raw Tag Team Champions for two weeks. Rollins has a knack for winning titles at SummerSlam, and he beat Brock Lesnar to become a two-time Universal Champion in 2019. Eight days later, he and Braun Strowman won the Raw Tag Team Championship. This time Rollins was a double champion for 26 days as he and Strowman lost the Raw Tag Team Championship at Clash of Champions 2019.
