Almost every wrestler eventually comes back to WWE, no matter how messy the breakup might have been. It's not always for another run or even a retirement match. They might come back to celebrate an anniversary, or maybe even for a Hall of Fame induction. However, more than 24 years after his run with WWE came to an end, one man who has never been back, not even for a flying visit, is Ken Shamrock. That's why Shamrock merch showing up out of the blue on WWE Shop has got the rumor mill working overtime.
Ken Shamrock Hall Of Fame Rumors
Spotted by PWInsider, an entire line of Shamrock shirts and hoodies, all sporting the same design but available in a variety of different styles, has been added to WWE Shop. That almost certainly means Shamrock and WWE have come to terms on a Legends deal, allowing WWE to sell Shamrock merch and for the former MMA fighter to earn royalties through the company. However, a few fans think there might be a little more to it than that.

Ken Shamrock was one of WWE's biggest stars during the early years of the Attitude Era, but left at the height of the company's success.After news of the merch started to spread on the Squared Circle subreddit, fans speculated that this might be an indicator that Shamrock will be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2024. The time of year the merch has gone up for sale certainly leans into that theory. A new Hall of Fame class is inducted during WrestleMania weekend every year, and it's about this time WWE would likely start to get in touch with those it wants to induct next year.
Does Shamrock Deserve An Induction?
If Shamrock is going into the Hall of Fame, it somehow feels like a left-field pick but also one that makes sense at the same time. Almost any fan who watched WWE during the Attitude Era will have fond memories of Shamrock's run. However, his one run in WWE is almost definitely shorter than you realize. Wrestling his first match in April 1997 and his last in September 1999, Shamrock was a WWE Superstar for less than three years.
The World's Most Dangerous Man crammed an awful lot into that two-and-a-half-year period, though. Winning the Intercontinental Title, Tag Team Championships, and even King of the Ring during that time, there's definitely an argument to be made that Shamrock should be a Hall of Famer. At best, we'll see Shamrock inducted in 2024. At worst, anyone who remains a fan of Shamrock can now buy official WWE merch with his name and face on it.
