WWE has reportedly settled on a date for the Money in the Bank 2021 pay-per-view.
According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, the plan is for Money in the Bank to take place on June 20. The next pay-per-view, WrestleMania Backlash, is scheduled for May 16.
The Observer noted that the initial plan was for Money in the Bank to take place on May 16, and WrestleMania Backlash on June 20. Both shows will take place at the Yuengling Center, the new ThunderDome location.
The last two Money in the Bank pay-per-views took place in the month of May (last year's was on May 10). The previous five Money in the Bank events (2014 to 2018) occurred in the month of June.
Most of last year's show was filmed at the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida. The men's and women's Money in the Bank ladder matches were pre-taped (cinematic style) at the WWE Global Headquarters in Stamford, Connecticut.
For the two Money in the Bank ladder matches, WWE set up a ladder in the middle of the ring on the building's rooftop, adding more creativity to the show.
