WWE's annual Money In The Bank event proved to be another fantastic premium live event in front of a packed house and a rabid English crowd that provided an incredible atmosphere. The event featured some brilliant matches with a great variety of title bouts, ladder matches, and grudge issues going down.

The event is one of the most popular each year and this one set up plenty of opportunities for down the road. With SummerSlam now right around the corner, the focus for WWE is immediately on what is next and creating the next step for the roster, and this show did a great job of setting plenty of angles up.
10 Shayna Baszler vs. Ronda Rousey
One of the most obvious storylines that WWE is going to be working with coming out of this event is a singles feud between Shayna Baszler and Ronda Rousey. Baszler jumped Rousey from behind during their Women's Tag Team Championship match which ultimately cost them the gold.
However, the former MMA stars are now clearly going to be competing against each other which should lead to some enjoyable, hard-hitting action. While having Rousey as the babyface could prove to be difficult, this could be a great story as they will push each other to their limits.
9 Focus On The Women's Tag Team Division
The split between Ronda Rousey and Shayna Baszler was a big surprise as they had claimed that they'd be pushing the women's tag team division. They certainly put a spotlight on it, and the match they were having against each other was proving to be a fantastic one that fans were into.

That is something that WWE now needs to build on, especially due to the popularity of the new champions. Fans love Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez, so continuing to push that as a focal point would be a wise choice for WWE.
8 Make Drew McIntyre Intercontinental Champion
A big surprise during the show was seeing Drew McIntyre make his return to the company for the first time since WrestleMania 39. He confronted Gunther and dropped him with a Claymore Kick before making it clear he has his sights set on the Intercontinental Championship.
This is an obvious SummerSlam match for WWE to book that would be a fantastic physical encounter that fans will love. A major babyface and a top heel is a main event-level storyline and McIntyre feels like the perfect person to dethrone Gunther as it provides something fresh and keeps the title heavily featured.
7 Iyo Sky Babyface Turn
Iyo Sky had a night to remember at this event as she was able to capture the Money In The Bank briefcase, but it came at a cost. During the match Bayley pushed her off the ladder and almost cost her the chance to win, which she got revenge for by handcuffing Bayley and Becky Lynch together.
It's clear that there is more to come with these two women, and this win for Sky should lead to a babyface turn for her. Having them feud would be a big deal as it will heat up Sky ready for a title shot, creating a new top star in the women's division in the process.
6 Cody Rhodes Gets A New Angle
The rivalry between Cody Rhodes and Dominik Mysterio has been entertaining enough for what it is, but it's something that has felt like a stopgap for him. Considering the fact that a third match between the American Nightmare and Brock Lesnar has seemingly been lingering over them they have done a good job pushing this.
The two had a nice match but it was nothing special, but with SummerSlam around the corner it is important to get Rhodes back into a blockbuster program. It's more than likely that the match with Lesnar is exactly that, and it would be wise to make it happen.
5 Becky Lynch Gets A Tag Team Partner
The storyline between Becky Lynch and Trish Stratus told its next chapter at Money In The Bank as Stratus and Zoey Stark worked hard throughout the encounter to stop Lynch from winning and it continued the issues between them.

Whether that's a current star like Zelina Vega or a legend such as Lita, this is the way to go for them.
4 Keep Pushing LA Knight
LA Knight was incredibly over at Money In The Bank, and while he didn't win the match it was clear that the fans have a lot of respect for him. He is someone that the company needs to get behind right now as he is getting the right reactions, therefore WWE doesn't want to miss out.
The company needs to get a big storyline in play for him, whatever that might be, and coming out of this show he should be a focal point of everything moving forward.
3 Book A UK WrestleMania
One of the biggest moments of the night was the surprise appearance of John Cena, which was a huge deal in and of itself. However, during his promo, Cena made it clear that he will make sure that London, England gets a WrestleMania in the future.
This is something that fans have spoken about potentially happening for years, but now it has been mentioned on television and will only be intensified. While next year is already booked and in place, it would be good for the company to get this done sooner than later as it's something people want to see happen.
2 Don't Cash In On Midcard Titles
Something that WWE has teased in the build-up to this show is the idea that the winner of the men's Money In The Bank could end up cashing in on the United States or Intercontinental Champion. That's something WWE did with Austin Theory last year, and it devalued the briefcase itself.
After winning the briefcase Damian Priest gave a backstage interview where he teased doing exactly that. While he mentioned both the World titles as well, the fact he spoke about the mid-card titles is a worrying thought. Fans want to see him cash in to reach the top, and anything short of that would be a mistake.
1 Jey Uso Challenges Roman Reigns
Jey Uso has been the key player throughout the entire Bloodline storyline, even when other people have come in and out of it, he has been crucial. The latest page in that story took place at Money In The Bank when he managed to shock the world by pinning Roman Reigns in their tag team match.
It was a huge deal that genuinely shocked fans, and after scoring a pinfall over the Tribal Chief he should now be the man that gets the push to challenge him next.
