Former WWE SmackDown Women’s Champion Charlotte Flair is reportedly set to marry Andrade El Idolo this month. It’s widely known that the Triple Crown Champion and the current AEW are in a romantic relationship and, per the Wrestling Observer Newsletter’s Dave Meltzer, they will make it official and tie the knot in May.
Charlotte, who managed to keep the aforementioned championship despite tapping out at WrestleMania 38, lost out to Ronda Rousey in an I Quit match at WrestleMania Backlash last weekend. She had been champion since her title swap with Becky Lynch on October 22nd and, before that, had held the Raw Women’s Championship since SummerSlam.

The hard-fought bout saw the women put each other through quite the grind as they battled it out through the crowd, used their environment in order to inflict pain, and trade lashes with kendo sticks.
Rousey would emerge the winner after surviving the Natural Selection on a chair and then locking Charlotte up in an Armbar with the aid of a chair herself.
A few days after the match, it was announced that Flair will be out indefinitely due to injury. The kayfabe injury was meant to write her off the television so she could get married.
According to Meltzer, the 32-year-old will have her wedding over Memorial Weekend, May 27-30.
Charlotte and Andrade have been a couple since 2019. They got engaged in January 2020.
