One of the most underrated superstars of his generation, Dolph Ziggler has won many championships in the WWE. Some of his title reigns were great, whilst some were very poor for his standards.
Dolph Ziggler is one of the most decorated superstars in the WWE right now. Starting as a member of The Spirit Squad, Ziggler transitioned into one of the finest singles wrestlers.

The Showoff is the 22nd Triple Crown winner in the WWE. He has won the World Heavyweight Championship twice, and the United States titles twice, the Intercontinental Championship six times and he has been a tag team champion three times. Ziggler is one of the greatest Intercontinental Champions of all time, not all of his reigns with the gold were good but some brought credibility to the title.
10 Worst: World Heavyweight Championship - 2nd Reign (2013)
Dolph Ziggler should have had plenty of memorable reigns as a World Champion in the WWE. He had the charisma and in-ring prowess to be a great champion but it never worked out. Ziggler cashed in his Money in the Bank briefcase on Alberto Del Rio on the Raw after WrestleMania 29 in 2013 to win his second World Heavyweight Championship. The pop he received despite being a heel was monumental.
Despite holding the title for 70 days, Ziggler never successfully defended the title. He dropped the championship back to Del Rio at Payback 2013. The match was not memorable but the double-turn was with Ziggler turning face, and Del Rio turning heel.
9 Best: Intercontinental Championship - 3rd Reign (2014)
In 2014, the Intercontinental Championship was like a hot potato. Ziggler dropped the title to The Miz at Night of Champions but invoked his rematch clause the following night on Raw. It was a wise decision as Ziggler became a three-time Intercontinental Champion.
Unfortunately, the reign was not memorable but he had a classic two-out-of-three falls encounter with another underrated superstar, Cesaro at Hell in a Cell. His run with the gold lasted 57 days as he dropped the title to Luke Harper on the Raw before Survivor Series.
8 Worst: Intercontinental Championship - 2nd Reign (2014)
Miz and Ziggler developed a rivalry over the Intercontinental Championship in 2014. Both men were former World Champions in the past but both took the Intercontinental title to the next level. At SummerSlam 2014, Ziggler ended Miz's reign with the gold to win his first Intercontinental title in three years.

Inevitably, the two would face off at Night of Champions the following month. It was a poor match for both men's high standards as Ziggler's second Intercontinental reign ended at 35 days, dropping it back to The Miz.
7 Best: Intercontinental Championship - 6th Reign (2018)
The Showoff aligned himself with a rejuvenated Drew McIntyre on Raw in 2018. Ziggler defeated Seth Rollins to win his sixth and most recent Intercontinental Championship on the June 18th episode of Monday Night Raw.
This is one of Ziggler's best reigns with the title as he had a successful title defense in a 30-minute Iron man match in the main event of Extreme Rules. Ziggler won 5-4 in sudden death overtime in one of the best Iron match matches in history. Unfortunately, his 61 days run as champion was halted at SummerSlam with Rollins reclaiming the title in another instant classic between the two.
6 Worst: Intercontinental Championship - 4th Reign (2014 - 2015)
The Showoff was looking to regain the Intercontinental title from Luke Harper at TLC in a Ladder Match. Harper took the title away from Ziggler a month prior, and Ziggler was looking for retribution.
It was a proud moment for Ziggler who was riding a wave of momentum in the latter stages of 2014. He overcame Harper to win his fourth Intercontinental Championship but it was a dismal reign for Ziggler. He lost the title to fellow former multiple champion Bad News Barrett on the first Raw of 2015 on January 5th. Harshly, The Showoff won the match but Kane, the Director of Operations changed the stipulation to a two-out-of-three falls match which Barrett took advantage of.
5 Best: World Tag Team Championship - 1st Reign (2006)
"Kenny, Johnny, Mitch, Nick, Mikey, and we are the Spirit Squad." Ziggler went by the name of Nicky in this group of male cheerleaders who did the McMahons' dirty work. They quickly made an impact as they upset the unstoppable Kane and Big Show to win the World Tag Team Championship on the Raw after WrestleMania 22 on April 3rd, 2006.

Any two of the five could defend the titles under the "Freebird Rule." They successfully defended the titles once on pay-per-view against The Highlanders at Unforgiven. Uncerimonusily their 216-day reign with the gold ended to Ric Flair and Roddy Piper at Cyber Sunday. Nevertheless, Ziggler earned a ton of experience during this time with feuds with D-Generation X.
4 Worst: United States Championship - 2nd Reign (2017)
At Clash of Champions 2017, The Showoff defeated Baron Corbin and Bobby Roode in an underwhelming triple threat match to become a two-time United States Champion. It was the first time in six years since Ziggler held that title.
A man of Ziggler's quality could have given the championship a lift it desperately needed. However, before his reign could gain any traction, he dropped the title in the ring on the December 19th episode of Smackdown. A week later, Smackdown General Manager Daniel Bryan stripped Ziggler of the title. It was a pointless United States championship reign with Ziggler holding the title for just nine days.
3 Best: Intercontinental Championship - 1st Reign (2010 - 2011)
Ziggler is a six-time Intercontinental champion but his first reign as champion is his best. The Showoff finally won his first singles championship in the WWE on the August 6th 2010 edition of Smackdown by defeating Kofi Kingston.
Successful title defenses on pay-per-view were against Kingston and Kaval better known as Low-Ki. However, his final successful PPV title defense was against Kingston and Jack Swagger in a triple threat Ladder match at TLC 2010. Ziggler has a habit of dropping titles to wrestlers he wins them from as the trend continued with his incredible five-month reign coming to and by Kingston on the January 7th 2011 episode of Smackdown.
2 Worst: World Heavyweight Championship - 1st Reign (2011)
At Royal Rumble 2011, Ziggler was unsuccessful in his bid to become World Heavyweight champion for the first time. He lost to the Rated-R Superstar Edge in a quality encounter. However, Edge was stripped of the title for using the banned Spear by his ex-wife Vickie Guerrero. Therefore, Guerrero awarded Ziggler with his first World Heavyweight championship.

It was supposed to be a crowning moment for Ziggler but it was a horrible reign. He dropped the title back to Edge in the same night, and it was one of the worst World championship reigns in WWE history, not even being champion for two hours.
1 Best: United States Championship - 1st Reign (2011)
The World Heavyweight title scenario was a farce in 2011. However, Ziggler did not let that ruin his year as bigger things were to come. The Showoff would undergo a change in character with a new haircut and a new theme song "Perfection." Which would now translate to his current theme song. Nevertheless, at Capitol Punishment, Ziggler defeated Kingston to clinch his first United States Championship.
He would go on to hold the title for a whopping 182 days. Vickie Guerrero was by his side for the duration of his impressive run. Ziggler retained the title in a Fatal 4-Way Match at Night of Champions, and he would start a rivalry with Zack Ryder. The Showoff would get the better of Ryder at Vengeance but he was unable to repeat the trick at TLC with Ryder finally putting a stop to Ziggler's lengthy reign as United States champion.
