Dominik Mysterio is having quite the 2023. Not only winning the North American Title and getting to spend lots of time with Rhea Ripley, but he's also the hottest heel in WWE right now, possibly in all of wrestling full stop. Depends on how you currently feel about CM Punk, I guess. Turns out the good times just keep on coming for the second-generation star as it has been pointed out that more than seven months in, Mysterio has more wins in WWE this year than anyone else in the company.

22 Wins And Counting

Wrestlelamia appears to have been the first to point out just how prolific a 2023 Mysterio has had so far, highlighting on social media that the North American Champion has won 21 matches so far this year. Since that fact was pointed out more than a week ago, Mysterio has actually added to that total. The champ picked up a win over Dragon Lee last week which means he is now up to 22 victories.

Mysterio does have a couple of WWE Superstars nipping at his heels. Right behind him is Seth Rollins who briefly pulled level with the young star last week in a match where he stood opposite of Mysterio. The World Champion was on the winning side in a six-person tag match, picking up his 21st victory of the year so far. However, it was the night after that when Mysterio beat Lee on NXT, making it 22 wins and counting for 2023.

Will He End The Year On Top?

Next up is Damian Priest, although Senor Money in the Bank has failed to increase his tally since Wrestlelamia published the numbers above. Sitting on 19 wins for the year so far, Priest is now three victories behind his Judgment Day buddy. Perhaps he will be able to close that gap if the cracks in the faction continue to worsen. Seems as if it's only a matter of time until Priest and Finn Balor clash over their shared desire to be World Champion.

It's not entirely clear where Mysterio goes next, although the North American Champion continues to work a lot of shows. He recently became the first WWE Superstar to wrestle in the main events of Raw, SmackDown, and NXT in the same week, just one of the reasons why he has racked up 22 wins faster than anyone else on the roster.
